Ski Carrier Recommendation for 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander  

Question:

What models ski roof racks would fit to Mitsubishi Outlander 2012? I need to fit up 4 pair of skis. I was looking at Yakima Roof-Mounted, Locking Ski and Snowboard Carrier - 4 Skis/2 Boards - does it work with Mitsu Outlander? Thank you.

According to Yakima, their ski and snowboard rack # Y03092 should fit the factory crossbars on a 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander. This economical roof-mounted rack holds 4 pairs of skis or 2 snowboards and uses Same Key System (SKS) lock cores to secure your gear to the carrier as well as the carrier to your crossbars.

If your Outlander still needs a roof rack, I recommend taking a look at the Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack with Vortex Crossbars # RRVA137B-2, # RRRLKVA, and # DK228. This is a very popular, light weight, economical rack that is also compatible with the PowderHound carrier.
