Rear Anti-Sway Bar Recommendation for a 2001 Pleasure-Way Lexor MP4

Question:

I have a model year 2001 Pleasure-Way Lexor MP4, which is on a model year 2000 Dodge 3500 Van chassis. I am interested in purchasing a rear anti-sway bar for this RV. The pages on your website for the model year 2000 Dodge vans refer to them as “250” and 350” as opposed to 2500 and 3500. Note that the Lexor is not the same as the Excel. The Excel body is widened behind the front doors. The Lexor is same width as the standard Dodge 3500 chassis. 1. Please advise as to which of the sway bars that etrailer sells fit this model year 2000 Dodge 3500 Van chassis configured as the 2001 Pleasure-way Lexor MP4 RV. 2. Also, please advise as to the sway bar diameter that I should purchase. Our RV is typically loaded to be at or near to the maximum allowable gross vehicle weight of 9200 lb. I live west of St. Louis, not too far from St. Charles or from Wentzville. I could bring my RV to one of these e-trailer locations for etrailer to inspect to determine which sway bar fits. Please advise if this is feasible.

The Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1129-111 that you referenced has been confirmed to fit the 2000 Dodge 3500 Van and Cut-Away van chassis that your 2001 Pleasure Way Lexor MP4 was designed on so I can recommend it for you.

The diameter of this sway bar is 1-3/8 inches which would work great for you. Going with too thick of a sway bar will cause a very harsh ride and will reduce turning radius.

We are in Wentzville so if you wanted to come on by that would be more than feasible. Our address is 1507 East Hwy A Wentzville, MO 63385.
