Where Does a 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Install on a 2006 Ford F-350 Dually

Hi I have a 2006 ford 4door f350 dually and would like to know the proper mounting location for the reese 30128 5th wheel reciever. thank you

The Pro Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Rails and Installation Kit # PS30128 uses the Reese universal installation kit # RP30035. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to view.

It looks like you would use sheet 11 of 23 in the instructions. The measurement from the rear edge of the bed to the back of the rear rail is 32-1/2 inches. After the rear rail is placed you would use the hitch to find the location of the front rail. The center line of the hitch should be 4 inches forward of the center of the rear axle.
