Roof Rack Option for 2015 Ford Transit Full-Sized Van
Question:
Wonder what type of roof racks you already have available for the Ford Transit 2015 Not the Transit Connect. I would be specially interested in the longitudinal bars need to amount a solar panel on the roof. Thx for your prompt reply.

The best rack we have to put solar panels on the roof of your 2015 Ford Transit is the Thule TracRac TracVan, part # TH29610XT. It's technically offered as a ladder rack so the capacity is higher than traditional roof racks. You should still verify the van's roof capacity becuase you'll still be limited by the lowest rating.
The rack is custom fit to your van, bolting directly to the factory mounting points on the roof. The bars are aluminum and also coated in powder coat to keep them from rusting.
The installation is pretty easy since they go into the fixed points. The bars have slots in the bottom that the feet slide into as well.
