How to Determine if an RV has Enough Clearance to Use Swagman Bike Rack part # S64663

Question:

I have a class c Gulf Stream motor home.want to carry to bikes . Has a 2 inch reese hitch. Will I need an extention since I have no bumper on this unit.i like the s64663. Im concerned about how far it needs for clearnce.thanks.

If you already have a hitch on your Class C Gulf Stream motorhome you would not have to use the bumper mounted hitch that comes with the Swagman Bike Rack part # S64663.

This rack has a distance of 8 inches from the center of it's hitch pin hole to the wheel hoops. If you measure from the center of your hitch's pin hole out to the furthest point out at the rear of your motorhome and that measurement is less than 8 inches you would have the clearance to install this rack.

This is an RV rated bike rack rated for the rougher ride associated with motorhomes so it would work well for you.
