Recommended Winch to Load Wheelchair into Back Seat Area of Ford F-150 Supercab
Question:
I have a Ford F150 supercab in which I constructed a cable and pulley system to load my manual wheelchair in the back seat area. The winch I used has a 2500 Lb. capacity and I have no need to lift more than 100Lb. and it is slow and very loud. My system works well but I need to find a compact winch that is quieter and faster. The cable length need not be more than 15 or 20 feet.

I spoke with my contact at Superwinch and we recommend taking a look at the LT2000 ATV Winch, # 1120210. This winch is very easy to mount and use and comes with a handheld remote. As for speed, this winch has a line pull of 10' per minute at 0 lbs and 2.5' per minute at 2,000 lbs.
When it comes to whether this will be quieter that your current winch, I could not make any guaranties.
All of our electric winches have a much higher capacity than what you require. For a winch with a capacity closer to what you are looking for, going with a hand winch would be our only option.
