You will want to take some measurements to see if a toolbox will work with your fifth wheel trailer on your 2004 Dodge Ram with the 6 ft bed.

You will want to slide your fifth wheel hitch forward all the way and take a measurement from the hitch to the inside wall of the front of the bed. This way you will know if you have the clearance needed to install a toolbox.

The DeeZee Red Label Truck Bed Toolbox, part # DZ8537, is designed to fit your truck. It measures 37-1/8 inches long x 19 inches wide x 16-9/10 inches tall with the lid included. This has a clear powder coat Silver aluminum finish. Installation will require drilling the bed of your truck.

For the same toolbox with a Black powder coat finish you will want part # DZ8537B.

If you are interested in a crossover toolbox that is designed to fit your truck you can check out the DeeZee Toolbox, part # DZ8170LB. This is a crossover toolbox that sits on top of the bed rail and attaches with the included J-hooks and hardware. This box measures 69-3/4 inches Long x 20 inches wide x 12-3/16 inches tall. The toolbox sits 3 inches above the bed rail with the lid. If you measure more than 20 inches from the hitch to the inside of the front bed rail you should be good to go with this toolbox. This has a Black powder coat finish.

We also offer this toolbox with a Silver finish. That is part # DZ8170L.

For a deeper box that measures 69-3/4 inches Long x 20 inches wide x 18-1/4 inches tall the toolbox I recommend is part number is # DZ8170DLB.
