Will the Reese Elite Series Underbed Rail Adapter # RP30156 fit a Curt R5 Hitch

I would like to pruchase the following item: Reese Elite Series Underbed Rail Adapter for Standard 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches - 20,000 lbs. I am told that it will fit my Curt R5 hitch, if it dosent is there a problem with returning it?
