Replacement Keys for a Locked Yakima Roof Rack on a 2005 Suzuki XL-7
Question:
I have a yakima cargo rack on my 2005 Suzuki xl7. I have lost the key for the locks to the rack. Can the rack be removed without locks.

You are going to have to unlock the roof rack on your 2005 Suzuki XL-7 to be able to take it off. All you will need is the right replacement key. For that I would just need to know the key number if you have it.
Replacement keys will be # Y8772-XXXX with the XXXX being the number on the lock face. So for example if the lock number was A149 then the replacement key would be # Y8772-A149.
Without the key number you would have to have a locksmith unlock one of the locks. Then you could use control key # Y8007835 to pull out a lock core. The lock number will be etched into the side of the lock core.
