Trailer Hitch Mount Bike Carrier for the Back of a 5th Wheel Trailer

Question:

I have been looking at the TH9028 and Thule double track bike racks. I have a fifth wheel camper that has a bumper mounted 2inch receiver, welded with extra supports underneath. Which bike rack would have the most ground clearance when the bikes are mounted, thinking that the further it sticks out the greater chance of dragging doubletrack?? Which one would take the beating or bouncing that would be associated with the back of a camper when going down the road? Will the foam on the doubletrackholding the bike stable hold up under this kind of use for years to come?? Do you have any suggestions??? I also do have a spare tire mounted on the left side of the bumper. I can also mount any of these bike racks on top of bumber as I have a double receiver top Or bottom. The camper is a 2010 Cougar 5th wheel 327 RES. It has a built in slide out bike rack Junk!

Actually, neither Thule bike rack is rated for use at the back of a trailer. There are only certain bike racks that you can use at the back of a trailer because of the rougher ride at the back of a trailer.

The Yakima LongHaul Bike RV Rack - 2" Hitches - Steel, Item # Y02476 is one rack you could use. It is a straight shank that gives it extra strength for 5th wheel use. I have also included a link to all of the options rated for use behind a trailer.
