Recommended Bike Rack for Specialized Turbo S Electric Bike That Weighs 45 lbs

According to Thule, their Helium Pro # TH9042PRO bike rack has a 37.5 lb per-bike capacity. Though this adds up to 75 lbs total, Thule specifically says that the weight of any individual bike shouldn't exceed 37.5 lbs because the cradles that hold the bikes aren't rated above that. None of our traditional hanging-style bike racks have enough capacity for a 45 lb bike, but we offer several platform racks that would work well for you.

The Hollywood Racks Trail Rider, part # HR200Z would be a good choice. The rack will accommodate two 45 lb bikes. To determine if its a fit for your vehicle, you'll need to determine how far under the rear bumper the receiver opening is recessed. Measure the distance from the hitch pin hole in the receiver to the rearmost edge of the back bumper (see linked FAQ article.) If the distance is less than 12-1/8 inches, the bike rack will install, and will be able to fold up into the storage position.

Either rack I recommended above will work with 1-1/4 inch or 2 inch receivers. I've linked you to product demonstration videos for each rack.
