KS81600 vs CP11600 Tow Mirrors Recommendation for a 1999 Ford Expedition
Question:
Hello, I have a 1999 Ford Expedition, with the more rounded, contoured mirrors. It appears both the KS and CP custom fit tow mirrors will fit my rig. Both have similar mirror face dimensions but after reviewing your videos and customer reviews, it sounds like the CP might extend a bit further out than the KS series, providing a bit more view. Can you confirm this? Many thanks,

Expert Reply:
The mirror face of the # CM11600 is 4-7/16" wide whereas the # KS81600 is 4-5/8" wide. It's not a huge difference but the # KS81600 is slightly wider.
However, like you noticed the # CM11600 does actually put the mirror further out from the vehicle mirror so it would provide a wider viewing angle. Not by much though, either mirror would work great for you.
