Locking Hitch Pin for Coast Guard Trailer Hitch Cover

Can I bolt this hitch cover so that its more burglar proof? Kids and adults like to steal this sort of thing.

What you can do is remove the retention device in the shank of the Coast Guard hitch cover # AUT-USCG-C and in its place use a locking hitch pin, # e98880. A lock will deter would-be thieves!
