Question:
Keystone 285 cougar 5th wheel, correct kit for dexter upgrade? Should you also use wet bolts on all attachments to springs?

Expert Reply:
To determine if a Dexter E-Z flex system will work on your trailer you will have to go by the equalizers currently used on your trailer.
Measure the distance from the center from one bolt hole to the center of the other bolt hole on your existing equalizer. If you get between 5-1/4 and 6-1/4 inches you could use the Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension System, part # K71-652-00. If you get between 7-1/4 and 8-1/4 inches you could use the Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension System, part # K71-653-00.
Using wet bolts is a good idea. The E-Z flex systems come with wet shackle bolts.
