Installation Location for the BrakeMaster Breakaway Reservoir
Question:
I cant find a place for the brake away cylinder under my hood in my 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Where do you place the cylinder when you do an installation? Very difficult to find a spot for the install. I have all the other parts ready to go just need a place to install brake away cylinder. Respectfully submitted for your expertise.

Roadmaster states that the air reservoir for the breakaway portion of the Brakemaster should be mounted in the towed vehicle, most often in the engine compartment, but it may be attached anywhere an air line can be routed from the top of the air reservoir to the front of the vehicle, and where the drain valve, at the bottom of the reservoir, is easily accessible.
If there isn't room under the hood in the obvious spots you can try elsewhere near the grille of the vehicle or even near the frame rails. As long as it meets the criteria listed above it would be fine to install it wherever you have room for it.
