Does Vehicle to Vehicle Taillight Converter Require Diode System to Tow Trailer with Jeep Wrangler
Question:
I am in Germany and need to use my US spec Jeep to tow a German trailer. Id like to get the 118158 converter because it would be perfect, Im just surprised that to use a converter I have to purchase a diode kit - plus all the additional wiring involved to wire in the diode kit and the converter. Thanks for your help,

You are correct that you will not need a diode kit in conjunction with the Tow Ready Vehicle to Vehicle Taillight Converter, # 118158 in order to tow a trailer with your 2010 Jeep Wrangler. You would only need the diode kit if you were flat towing your Jeep from an RV or motorhome.
