The Kat's engine block heater # KH11813 installs in a cartridge hole on the engine block. Once you locate the cartridge hole, clean the hole of all debris. You can use compressed air. You don't need to open the coolant system because the heater installs in the cartridge hole of engine block.

Attach the cord to the Kat's heater # KH11813 and install the heater in the cartridge hole of your engine block and rotate the clip on the cord to secure the heater and cord to the engine block and heater.

Lastly, route the cord through the grill using cable ties to prevent the cord from any contact with hot or moving parts.

Unfortunately, we don't have a installation video at this time.

It's recommended, once your heater is installed, to have your local service station check your anti-freeze solution. On permanent type anti-freeze, a solution too strong or too weak will freeze. If it freezes, it will stop the flow of liquid through the heater and hoses and cause the heater to burn out.

A couple tips to note is don't use this Kats heater with a 100 percent antifreeze solution. Also, don't start your engine with the heater plugged in.
