How to Pick Out Tow Bar Wiring for Flat Towing

We are trying to connect the wiring from the RV to the truck which will then be towed. How do we wire so that the brake lights and signal lights on the truck go on at the same time as those in the RV?

What you are looking for is called tow bar wiring. Wiring your towed vehicle (or dinghy) can be a complicated process. Depending on the wiring method you've chosen, you may have to splice into your car's wiring, drill into your tail light housings or run wiring beneath your car.

Because each towed vehicle is different, and each RV (or tow vehicle) is different, it can be somewhat difficult to determine what all you may need for your towing setup.
