How does the heater pad attach to oil pan? Do you glue it, or does it have an adhesive back? Thanks

The part # KH26150 that you referenced uses a flexible 4 X 5 inch heating pad that is attached by peeling the adhesive backing and sticking it to the surface you wish to heat. This is a 150 watt heating pad that has a silicone covering that resists oil and acid.
Before attaching the pad I would recommend thoroughly cleaning the oil pan.
