Recommended Wiring And Supplemental Braking System for 2015 Jeep Wrangler Towed Behind Motorhome
Question:
I already have the tow bar and base plate. Question is about lights on Jeep brakes, blinkers, flashers and do you know if a supplemental brake system is required in Pa. Suggestion are appreciated

For a lighting solution, you can go with a simple to use magnetic tow lamp set up like the Roadmaster # RM2120. This system would be very easy to install and remove, only taking a few seconds, and would allow the lighting to remain completely independent of the wiring system of your Jeep. A more permanent solution would be a plug and play wiring harness like the Hopkins # HM56200.
According to my research, Pennsylvania does indeed require a supplemental braking system. The Stay-IN-Play DUO # SM99251 doesn' t have to be set up each time you're towing or removed from the Jeep when you want to drive it. There's a switch to turn it on or off instead.
My research indicates that the 2015 Jeep Wrangler is capable of being flat towed, but I'd recommend you confirm that for yourself with the owner's manual or with Jeep.
I'll link you to some FAQ articles about flat towing that you might find helpful.
