Will the Rear Bumper on a 2007 Honda Ridgeline Interfere with Hopkins Backup Camera and Sensors

Question:

I have a 2007 Honda Ridgeline and am concerned if the sensors will get false readings because the lic. plate is approx. 4 inches from the edge of the bumper. Is there anyway to find out if this would cause a problem. I would be similar to a step bumper install. Thanks

We have installed this backup camera system on a 2009 Honda Accord and have a video on our site on the install and use of the system. The bumper on the Accord does stick out a few inches and we had no problems with the sensors malfunctioning. I have added links to these videos below.

The license plate bracket can be adjusted as well as the backup sensors. This way you can make sure you will have no interference from the bumper. We have not heard from any of our customers using this product that they were not able to get it properly set up for their vehicle.
