Differences Between Bargman # 34-84-711 and # 34-84-800 Replacement Taillight Lenses

Question:

My old Bergman triple tail lenses are marked top on one end and one side. Mine are 20+ years old and mounted horizontal/side by side. Other than the price, what is the difference between part # 34-84-711 and 34-84-700? I believe mine are series 84. Thanks

The only difference between the two lenses is the orientation in which they're meant to be mounted. The # 34-84-711 is meant for horizontally mounted lamps and # 34-84-700 is meant for vertically mounted lamps. The difference between the two is the way the inside of the lens is checkered for the correct level of reflection. One has maximum reflection when mounted horizontally, the other when mounted vertically.

Other than that, there's no other difference between the two lenses. Because your lamps are mounted horizontally, you'll need the # 34-84-711.
