Supplemental Braking Recommendation for a 2014 Ford C-Max Being Flat Towed by RV
Question:
I want to pull a 2014 Ford C Max behind my RV with a Demco baseplate and tow bar. What kind of brake should I use with this setup? Is there a demco brake?

Expert Reply:
What you need is a supplemental braking system that will apply the brakes of your 2014 Ford C-Max in proportion to the braking of your RV.
The system we recommend the most due to how easy it is to set up and use is the Roadmaster Even Brake Portable Proportional Braking System # RM-9400. This system will sense the amount of braking that your tow vehicle is applying and will apply the C-Max brake in a proportionate amount.
Check out the install video I attached for this product as well as the FAQ article on supplemental braking that I attached.
