Torque for Mounting Bolts on 5th Airborne Premium Fifth Wheel Air Ride Coupler
Question:
WHAT IS THE TORQUE FOR 15/16inch MOUNT ING BOLTS ?
asked by: WILLIAM Y
Expert Reply:
According to my contact at Reese, the 5th Airborne Premium Fifth Wheel Air Ride Coupler # RP78FR uses 5/8" mounting bolts to mount the 5th Airborne to the mounting wing set. You will want to use a 15/16" torque wrench. Reese recommends replacing the mounting bolts, nuts, and lock washers with the same size and grade as the bolts removed from the original pin box.
I have included a link below to the installation instructions which include the current torque recommendations for the 5th Airborne Premium Fifth Wheel Air Ride Coupler for your reference.
