Quick Disconnects or Crossbar Missing from Falcon 5250 Tow Bar
Question:
As I asked before, I was told that part number 495-1A would fit my vehicle using a Roadmaster Falcon 5250 tow bar. Now that I am about to bolt these parts on my truck Ive noticed there is now way to attach to the cross bar to the base plate. And on top of that the gap between the two base plates appeares to be a lot wider than the 28.5inch the top holes on the cross bar is. Do I need an adapter piece? Was I given some wrong advice? Is the part I paid for not what I should be using? I do have a trip planned in the very near future and really need this truck to be tow ready so any advice you could give me would be certainly appreciated.

It sounds like your Falcon 5250 is missing a piece. This is not uncommon. You should be using the quick disconnect tow bar base assembly, # 910021-00. If you have the bar, which it sounds like you do, then you would need the quick disconnect part, # RM-201.
