Will a Thule Kayak Carrier Fit on a 1998 Ford Explorer

Perchased Kyak rack have a 1998 Ford Explorer does it fit this vehicle

If your 1998 Ford Explorer has a factory roof rack (bars that run front to back and bars that run side to side) the Thule Hull-A-Port will not fit but the JayLow, # Y04073, will fit without anything else needed.
If your Explorer does not have crossbars that run side to side, you will need to add some. I have included a link to roof rack main page for your vehicle. Just select which type of roof you have to see the available options.
