2011 ram 1500 w/ factory 7way and 4pin brakeman 83504 e-brake lamp on after hooking up controller

It sounds like you might have the red wire (input from the brake switch) attached to the wrong circuit. This could happen if you are not using the correct wiring harness, which is # 3021-P, or if the wires are not in the correct locations in the end that plugs into your 2011 Dodge Ram.
The harness that you are using should be configured like the picture I have included.
