Installation Instructions and Hole Size Drilled for the Topline Bed Extender # BX4004-01
Question:
A friend gave me the OEM Bed Extender off his F-150 to install on my 2009 F-150. I purchased the hardware, 2 pins and 4 grommets, but, no instructions to go by. I do have a bed liner in the box, which has 3 indents on the each side, which I assume the pins will go in the centre holes and, the grommets above and below. I dont know what size to drill the holes to install myself. Any help would be appreciated.

If the bed extender you were given was the Topline Bed Extender # BX4004-01 that you referenced you will need to drill 25/64 inch holes in the tailgate to install it. Check out the installation instructions I attached for more info.
I also attached an install video for this product for you to check out as well.
