Towing a 5th Wheel Trailer with a Gooseneck Trailer Hitch in a 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500LD

I just purchased a 2002 keystone sprinter 252FWRLS 25ft I own a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado LD 1500 which hitch do I need ? its set up for goose neck do I need to go with 5th wheel?

To tow a 5th wheel trailer the best option is to use a 5th wheel hitch. But there are adapters that will allow you to tow a 5th wheel trailer even if you only have a gooseneck hitch in your 2002 Chevy Silverado.
You can use the Anderson Ranch Hitch, # AM3100. I have included a link to a video review for you.
If you wanted to go with a 5th wheel hitch instead you would have to remove the gooseneck hitch, including its mounting brackets and install a 5th wheel kit such as # RP30035. Then you would add a 5th wheel hitch such as the 16K Reese hitch # RP30047 for a long bed truck, or for a short bed truck you would use the slider version, # RP30051.
