The Curt X5 Fifth Wheel Adapter # 16310 is compatible with a B&W Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch with the square shank, but not with gooseneck hitches from other manufactures, like the Reese Hide-A-Goose.
If you have a long bed truck and have the Hide-A-Goose, you could use the Draw-Tite Hi-Rise Gooseneck Hitch, part # 9480.
