Ladder Rack and Tonneau Cover that Can be Used Together on a 2000 Dodge Ram Short Bed
Question:
Ladder rack, tanneau cover combination for 2000 dodge ram 6.5 bed Any suggestions? My truck already has a hard cover on it

You will need a tonneau cover that installs on the insides of the bed rails. In other words it cannot rest on top of the bed sides. I have included a link to the tonneau covers we carry that fit this description.
Then you will need a ladder rack that does not clamp to the bed sides. There is one option that will work, the TracRac sliding ladder rack # TH43002XT-501.
Please note that it is possible that on a ladder rack like this with arms that angle in towards the center of the bed it may make it difficult to open the hard shell tonneau covers. To avoid that, using a soft tonneau cover such as # 834532007998 would be the safer option.
