For Reese custom installation kit # RP50081-58 and your 2013 Ford F-150, measure from the rear edge of the bed (not the tailgate) forward 50-15/16 inches. This is were the rear edge of one rail will be. Once in position and mounted you will use the hitch to locate the position of the second rail.
Place the unassembled 5th wheel saddles/slider/goose into the already installed mounting rail. Position the second mounting rail with the saddles/slider/goose by inserting the tabs into the mounting rail and pushing the mounting rail tight towards the other mounting rail. Ensure that the mounting rail is centered between the weld seams on the length of the truck box floor. This will position the mounting rail in the correct location and ensure that the 5th wheel will have a snug fit to the truck.
The hitch center line should be approximately 2-1/4 inches forward of the center of the rear axle. I have linked the installation instructions for you to view. I have also linked a video showing installation for you.
