Fifth Wheel Rails and Hitch Recommendation for a 2013 GMC Sierra 3500 for Towing a 25k Trailer

I have a 2013 gmc 3500 shortbed with a bandw gooseneck hitch. Will the curt hitch 16310 hitch fit my truck with an airsafe 25k 5th wheel?

Yes, the Curt X5 Fifth Wheel Adapter # 16310 that you referenced was designed to fit the square shank B and W turnover ball hitches so it would work well in your 2013 GMC 3500 truck with a shortbed.

However, this adapter is rated for only 20k so your 25k trailer would weigh too much for it. There's no configuration available that we carry that will allow you to tow a trailer that heavy.

The only option you would have would be to remove the gooseneck hitch you have and install a set of fifth wheel rails like the # RP50066-58 so that you can install the high rated Huskey Slider Hitch part # HT31318-32042 that has a 26k capacity.
