Best Location to Install a Kat's Custom Fit Engine Block Heater
Question:
Is there an instructional video on where and how to install this? I have experience with circulating heaters, just not sure where on the engine block Id plug this in. I figure installing it myself will be better and cheaper than paying the dealer to do it.

The Kat's engine block heater # KH11812 installs in a cartridge hole on the engine block. Once you locate the cartridge hole, clean the hole of all debris. You can use compressed air.
Then attach the cord to the Kat's heater # KH11812 and install the heater in the hole. Rotate the clip on the cord to the proper position (it may be left rear, right rear, and 2nd right rear or left front)to secure the heater and cord to the engine block and heater.
Lastly, route the cord through the grill using cable ties to prevent the cord from any contact with hot or moving parts.
Unfortunately, we don't have a video at this time.
It's recommended, once your heater is installed, is have your local service station check your anti-freeze solution. If the solution is too strong or too weak it will freeze.
