Drop Weight Distribution Shank Recommendation for a Reese WD System Used on Chevy 1500 Silverado

we need a Reece weight distribution shank for our new Silverada 1500. The truck is too high for the camper. Any suggestions

Expert Reply:
First you will want to determine how much drop you will need to tow your trailer level. Check out the FAQ article I attached to the right that details how to determine this.
If you need up to 5-3/4 inches of drop I would recommend the Curt Shank part # 17120, if you need up to 9 inches of drop I would recommend the Curt Shank # C17124.
The Curt shanks have been confirmed to fit the Reese weight distribution systems so they will work well for you.
