Where Does the Clear Film Install on the Thule Hullavator Kayak Carrier
Question:
We assembled the hullavator and did not find any instruction for the clear film. Your website says to put in/on the flange of the bar mount assembly, but we dont understand what that means. We hoped your video would demonstrate, but it did not. Can you provide further instruction on the placement of the clear film?

Expert Reply:
The clear film # 853-5481 is meant to go on the bottom of the bar mount assembly, which is the part that attaches to the vehicle crossbars. Place it between the bar mount assembly and the roof rack bars where they make contact with each other. They are designed to help protect the vehicle crossbars and the Hullavator from marring each other.
