Can the Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera Part # HM50002 Work with 2 Cameras
Question:
Did you consider running the video cable through the firewall under the dash? I ordered the video system yesterday and am considering how I prefer to run the video cable. Im also thinking of an alternate way to attach the monitor without using tape. One last question, is there a way to connect two cameras to the monitor? Id like to install a camera on the front and back of my truck.

I would run the video cable behind the carpet and plastic which will conceal the wiring. I included a installation video for you to look at too.
Other than tape to attach your monitor, you could always permanently mount it instead. The tape is quite durable though.
The best way to utilize a 2 camera system (front and back of your truck) is going with the Swift Hitch wireless 2 camera system part # SH03D. Another benefit of the Hopkins # SH03D is you can turn the cameras on or off as needed so you don't have to hardwire anything into the vehicle wiring.
The Hopkins backup camera part # HM50002 will only work with 1 monitor. I have seen the Hopkins camera # HM50002 in use and it's a very nice backup camera system.
