Are Spacers Needed With Air Helper Springs For 2014 Dodge Ram With 3 Inch Suspension Lift Kit
Question:
I want a airlift 1000 base kit. I have a 3inch Maxtrac lift cool in the rear. Would I use the 2inch or 4inch lock n lift with my 3inch lift coil?

For your 2014 Dodge Ram 1500, the AirLift 1000 Air Helper Springs, part # AL60818 would be a good fit.
You said you have a 3 inch lift kit installed on your Ram. I spoke with my contact at Air Lift and they told me that spacers were not necessary for your Ram. The way these air helper springs work is that they expand within the coil springs and do not elongate to reduce the gap caused by the suspension lift kit.
If the suspension lift kit includes using a smaller diameter coil spring on your Ram, the Air Lift 1000 kit will possibly not work. The coil springs need to be the same diameter as the original equipment.
