Do Lippert 5th Wheel Landing Gear Use Different Repair Kits for Lead and Follower Leg
Question:
Have a 2008 COUGAR 5TH WHEEL. leg will not work on motor side. The other side works.Would the leg with the motor be the lead leg? Are the repair kits different?

The fact that it's the lead leg that's not working properly would tend to rule out the gear box as being the problem.
The leg with the motor would indeed be the lead leg. The repair kits are indeed different. The lead leg would use the # LG-146059 repair kit and the follower leg repair kit would be # LG-146060.
