Is There Corrosion Concerns When Adding a Ventline Trailer Roof Vent with Galvanized Steel Flange

Is there a concern on how the Galvanized Steel mounting flange will react with a aluminum roof regarding galvanic corrosion.

Expert Reply:
There is always a possibility of corrosion when using different metals. What I recommend is the installation kit # 344270KITW as it will have the sealant and screws to install your roof vent with a waterproof seal.
You can always paint the sealant after 72 hours if you would like.
