Recommended Snowboard Carrying Options for 2012 BMW X5 w/ Roof Rails
Question:
Hello and good evening. Im New to all this so please bear with me. We snowboard racks to put on our X5. Our X5 has the raised factory installed roof bars that run front to back. My question is do I need to ALSO purchase a crossbar in additional to the snowboard racks you have on your website? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Hope to hear from you soon.

You will indeed need some crossbars. I'd recommend the Thule AeroBlade Edge, part # TH7503-TH7503. For a board carrier than mounts to the crossbars, I'd recommend the SnowPack from Thule, part # TH7326. The SnowPack can handle 6 pairs of skis or 4 snowboards.
