In order to find out if the Carpod cargo carrying basket will fit the 2013 Ford Edge/Lincoln MKX, you'll need to take a measurement to determine how far the hitch is recessed under the rear of the vehicle. Measure from the hitch pin hole rearward to the furthest rearward edge of the back bumper (I'll link you to an article that shows exactly how to do this.)

If the distance you measured is LESS than 2-1/2 inches, the basket will fit just fine. If the distance is longer, the upright portion of the shank will contact the rear bumper before you can slide the shank into the receiver far enough for the hitch pin to be inserted. Carpod also offers the # M2200-01-02, which will fit if the measurement you took is less than 4 inches.

If the hitch is recessed too far under the rear of the vehicle for either of these carriers to be feasible, the Curt # C18151 has a shank that's long enough at 9 inches to fit on any vehicle.
