In order to determine if your 2009 Chevy Silverado 2500HD can tow your 32 foot travel trailer you will first need to determine the loaded weight of the trailer you plan on towing and then check the owners manual of the truck to determine if it has the needed capacity to tow a trailer that heavy.
You said it's not a fifth wheel trailer. So that would indicate that it's either a gooseneck trailer or a bumper pull trailer. Since travel trailers aren't usually gooseneck this would make me think that it's a bumper pull.
I attached an FAQ to the right with tips on towing a trailer that you might find helpful.
