Does the Reinforcement Bracket of the Draw Tite Hitch 24594 Have to Be Used for Installation
Question:
How critical is it to have the reinforcement bracket installed? I have the main frame-rail attachments bolted in but I could not get the reinforcement bracket installed, as I have a european bumper and it seems to block it from going through the tow-hook holes.

Although it would seem like you might be OK not using the reinforcement bracket of the Draw Tite Hitch part # 24594 when installing it on your vehicle, I cannot safely recommend you skip that step when you install the hitch as it would void the warranty.
If there is any way you can safely modify your bumper so that you can get the bracket installed I would recommend you do so.
