Helpful Expert Reply:
The Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera System # HM50002 that you referenced will install in your 2010 Toyota Tundra with tow package at the rear of the truck's 7-way socket. The rear of the 7-way socket, the side facing the front of the vehicle, will have a round U.S. Car connector that plugs into the back of the 7-way.
To install the Hopkins system you'll need to release the locking tabs for the round connector on the wiring harness that is connected to the socket. Install the two (male and female) ends of the Hopkins wiring in between them. Please refer to the linked video.
No cutting of the truck's wiring is required and the existing 7-way remains functional even with the Hopkins system in place.
