Alignment of Lower Bracket on Firestone Ride-Rite Air Spring # F2430 on Lifted 2012 Silverado

Question:

Did I read correctly that the lower bracket has been changed? I have spacers under my bags because I have a 5inch lift and the spacer sits half way on the lower bracket...just doesnt seem safe.

Thank you for providing the photo of your 5-inch-lifted Silverado's air bag spacer.

I checked with my technical contact at Firestone about your alignment concern. He advised that as long as at least 75% of the spacer's bottom makes contact with the top of the bottom bracket you should have no reason for concern. Based on your photo it appears that this is the case.
