Trunk Mount Bike Carrier for a 1991 Toyota Celica GT Convertible with Rear Spoiler

Also - I have a girls bike, with no top bar. Ideally I want to be able to transport two relatively lightweight bikes. Looking for something that fits over my spoiler and wont damage my car. I dont want to waste money but Id like something sturdy and easy to use.

For your 1991 Toyota Celica GT Convertible I recommend the Hollywood Racks Express, # HRE3. This rack is easy to use and lets you carry 1 or 2 or 3 bikes on the trunk of your GT. It has four straps to anchor it securely to your car.

You will want to make sure the bike rack and vehicle are clean where they come into contact with each other to avoid scratching the vehicle. A coat of wax on the vehicle will also help protect it.

Since you will be carrying bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have to use these adapters and without them my wife's bike would be at a severe angle and I would not be able to load my son's bike at all. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
