Spare Tire Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2014 Jeep Wrangler with Wide Tires

Question:

I have a 2014 Wangler with off road tires- 34inch What bike rack do you suggest? Need to carry at least 2 bikes, and 3 is ideal. The spare tire rack hold 2 - that is acceptable. But will they fit on the larger tire size? If I go with a hitch, do I need an extension to clear the tire? thanks

Hollywood offers a cost-effective 2-bike carrier, part # HRSR1 , that mounts around the outside of the spare tire, rather than by using the tire lugs, so you do not have to remove the spare tire to install the rack. This carrier also has dual folding arms, fits tires up to 15-inches wide, holds up to 75 lbs and is made of black powder-coated steel tubing.

Email me back with the distance from the center of your hitch pin out to the furthest point out on your spare tire and I will find you a 3 bike rack that will clear the spare.
