The SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box, part # SR7018, will work with your 2012 GMC Acadia if the crossbars are no more than 3-3/4 inches in diameter. You will need to measure the existing roof side rails on your Acadia to ensure that they are the correct spread, 25-7/8, 27-7/8, or 29-7/8 inches apart. You should also consult your owner's manual to determine the weight capacity of the roof rack on your Acadia. Check out the video review of this cargo box I have included.

You might also take a look at the Folding Wheel Step, # PT68ZR. This step hangs onto your tire, providing you with a step that would make loading and unloading that cargo box much easier.
