How to Pick Out the Largest Thule Cargo Box that Will Clear The Rear Hatch for a Vehicle

What is largest possible Thule box that will fit on my 2009 Honda Pilot touring with factory crossbars installed without rear hatch interference?

In order to determine that you are going to have to take one simple measurement. If your front crossbar is adjustable you will need to slide it all the way forward and then measure from the center of the bar back to the seam of the rear hatch. That is the amount of front clearance you need.

Once you determine how much you need compare that measurement to the chart I attached that shows the rear hatch clearance in the right hand column for every Thule cargo box we carry.

The # TH6358B you referenced requires 51-1/8 inches. If the measurement you took is more than that this one would fit.
